Trapped, 2012, drawing

                          Trapped, 2012, drawing on paper, 2800 x 1400 mm (3000 x 1600 mm)

The past is an essential part of my being and creativity. My motivation, inspiration and the backbone of my work. Memories do not lead to the past they lead in the present, it opens the door to new sensations, to what is happening now. 'Trapped' is a work / drawing introspective in its nature. Reflection of (personal) internal condition, experiences, anxieties and emotions that occupy the mind. 'Trapped' speaks about those moments in life when we make one step forward and three back, about a sense of being trapped in our own story / net which absorbs and attracts what we want and do not want to, an attempt to edit the whole fragmentary memories, fitting parts to understand, forgive, move on.

Exhibited at 18th International exhibition of drawing, Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Rijeka, Croatia.
Drawing is dedicated to dibidus and makes a part of a collection in Museum of Modern and contemporary art in Rijeka.
